In the extra material for the season 1&2 disc, Cybill says that they sometimes had the script in front of them when they did the car-shots. Here I think I can see proof of that!
Right before Maddie get David thrown out of the car (after the word boink is frequently used) you can see some pieces of paper before him.. And I can´t remember him bringing any other paper into the car. He´s not a note-taking kind of guy. Keeps it all locked up in his mind.. Watch it and see for yourself.

I took a look at the car scene, which runs from 10:15-12:35, and are you sure you're not mistaking the folder the radio manager gives them for the pieces of paper? Here he is giving them the manila envelope that has Paul's photo in it: And here is a shot of Dave picking it up once they're in the car: Third, here's one of Maddie driving away; check the dashboard very closely and you can see the folder: Still, they may have put script pages in the folder just to play it safe. Or something else. I'm sure they'd come up with a clever way to hide that. ;D I'll check other car scenes, like the one in "The Episode Before Christmas." They did an awful lot of driving around, and it's bound to be somewhere.

Oh, I´m sorry. I never got that they recieved a folder!(it´s not for lack of watching..) I didn´t mean any of those frames that you´ve shown here, but it sure proves my point wrong. Well, well, thanks for the explanation. And I suggest we all keep on looking for these kind of bloopers. (even though this wasn´t one)

No problem. ;D Given what she said about keeping script pages in the car just in case, though, I wouldn't put it past them to have at some point let stay some little continuity mistake in a different 'driving around' scene, perhaps. There are plenty of other examples of them being in the car, so who knows, maybe we will catch one. ;D

I bet you a dollar that the lines were written on the front of the folder! xx
