Definitely not there. sinceifell4u

Wowee!! Okay, here is my little gift to you. It's gonna make you rethink a few things..... I happen to own the script to this episode and thought some of you would like to read some of the small little scenes they left out. Bees, I can honestly say, that in over 3 decades of me walking this earth...I have NEVER been envious of another person in my life....until this very moment! I'm soaking my eyeballs now, hopefully the green will leave... bringing back my true, beautiful, baby brown eyes that regularly reside there. You are officially my hero, LOL! Lucky...no, luck just doesn't cover this, Blessed 'essed! P.S.~Yes, the soaking of my eyes is an analogy for the many tears falling from them because I don't own a copy of at least one of these scripts. I'm going out in the cold now to cuss and cry, so nobody can see or hear me! I've heard you never know what you would truly do for something you really desire; I just got a real wake up call about what I'd do and how far I would go ...LMAO (maniacally) Hey SINCEifell4u they sell quite a few scrpits on EBAY and i dont think they are very expensive. I own 1: Lady in the iron mask. it was given to me by someone i became friendly with off the board last year as a gift. i would love to have IACM script! SIGH! LOL

A comapny based in Hollywood named Script City has 24 of the more easily obtained scripts. Here's the link: www.scriptcity.com/index.php?p=catalog&mode=search&search_in=name&search_str=moonlightingFor anything else, you may have a difficult time. Through the years, I have collected quite a few scripts from various sources including EBay. But since the show has been off the air for such a long time, most of the sources for scripts, as well as for wardrobe items have pretty much dried up. I would still suggest checking EBay regularly....you could be surprised.

Hi there, it's been a long time since I last commented on a ML episode but I'm always very busy working and I must admit that even if I were able to join the discussion on time, I couldn't keep up with you guys so fast you are to answer the questions (I'm impressed here) But this time, I've decided to take on my job's time to give my point on view on a few questions that have been raised here concerning this great episode(one of my favourites), hoping it's not too late though!? I won't necessarily answer the questions on the right order but just how ideas come through my mind... sorry about that.. So, once I'm back home, I return on you to express my ideas ... Anne

I only have 4 of them and got them from ebay. Actually, the last time diane posted about scripts on ebay I think I snatched them then.
It is fun to read them and even if they left out scenes, it gives you a better idea sometimes of what they were thinking about the characters.
And sometimes it's a good thing that they leave stuff out.....

Hi there, 4. What do you make of David flat out lying to Maddie about spending the evening with his father? And why do you think Maddie let him continue in his little charade for so long before calling his hand?I never understood why David was so distant with his father, we don't really have the explanation over the episode but we guess from what he says that Mr.Addison Sr was too busy to look after his 2 sons especially at a time when they would have needed him the most that is when their mother died and therefore that would explain David's behaviour but still I don't understand why he would refuse to say hello to him at least over the phone ? I mean his father did a long trip from the East coast to pay him a visit, it's the least he could do if not seeing him at least he could call him to know the reason of his visit...? well don't you think? To me in this episode David is acting like a child right from the start, I mean even if you are upset with your father , the least you can do is to listen to him and try to know what he really wants. This time, this is David who plays avoidance but in a childish-like way, he just refuses to confront his father and thus avoids to give him a chance to make up for who knows what he did. It's difficult to explain and understand David's behaviour this time without knowing what really happened between his father and him ... but IMO David doesn't play fair this time and the fact that he's lying to Maddie is just another way to avoid facing reality. IMO Maddie is intrigued by his attitude and therefore wants to know how far he can sink into lie but when she tells him about his father he still doesn't explain himself. This is all very frustrating for the audience, I think David is my favourite character in the show but this time I must admit that his behaviour is very disturbing to me. It seems to me that in this episode faced with his father, David becomes a child again and Maddie as some of you said plays the role of his mother and therefore she's the one who "kicks his ass" to help him to confront with his responsibilities and grow up just a"wee"bit. Well it's just an opinion... back to you soon to answer another question.. Anne

Ifm relieved Ifm not the only one late, Anne, thank you for the post! Anyway, I always feel this is one of the very sweet episodes and Ifd like to post my feelings. First of all, I was really impressed by beesnfs excellent answers to Q7. I found myself continually nodding while I was reading. And there are many deep insights that Ifve never thought and now agree with, thanks everyone! Itfs funny that David always comes back to Maddie when he is cornered, saying he wanted to see her. We saw it several times in Season 2. I think he really likes and needs this strong woman. He usually thinks he teaches Maddie everything, but somehow he depends on her at times, especially when he is in chaos. I think he needs her not to be just tender but as a dependable partner. And Maddie sometimes challenges him (IMHO: this time which is ghe is selfish, inconsiderate and childish!h) and lets him see things that he hasnft realized yet. I think he loves that part of their relationship and I can see how strongly they have already bonded in this episode. Just my feelings.

I don't think these two have realized yet just how much they need each other...but it becomes instinctive in both of them to turn to the other in times of trouble!
