I just left a comment on the EW site at the end of the article. I have a good feeling about this... I think soon we will see Moonlighting on a streaming service. If we all believe in it, and do something about it... make our voices heard... it will happen!

I just recieved an email that the streaming version is available! I went to AppleTV and you can buy the seasons for $30/season with the first season for $15. Personally, I think they should adjust seasons 4 and 5 to $15 because of the writers strike and the low number of episodes. I already own the DVDs so I'm wondering if there is anything new and improved. I know the music was a big deal and I be there are some changes there. Anyone know definitively? Also it says "HD" and obviously my DVDs (not BluRay) are Standard Definition. Was the film re-scanned in HD or was there just an up-convert?

I think the bigger question when it comes to HD isn't the quality of the video. After all, an up-convert would only accomplish so much. The bigger problem is that I don't see how this series could be converted from 4:3 to 1920x1080. There are too many tight shots on their faces, and the only real way to convert it to 1920x1080 is to pan in within each scene and by doing so you would lose a lot of real estate from the top and bottom of the frame.
