It was watched by 60 million viewers? WOW!! I didn't know that, thanks for the article bluemooner! (Also very pleased to hear Josh and Donna FINALLY get together in The West Wing! Only several years to wait before it hits NZ screens!))

The headline!!!! Nice! I just have to tell the world again that I love the 5th season! (the 8 first episodes) And there´s nothing anyone can say that would make me change my mind! I hate to read over and over again that the show "was cursed" just because of the big bang. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, and this is mine.

The headline!!!! Nice! Yeah, that was a classic line, I remember that article. And there´s nothing anyone can say that would make me change my mind! I hate to read over and over again that the show "was cursed" just because of the big bang. I resent that comment! Everyone is entitled to their opinion, and this is mine. Oh, that massively ticks me off too. (The part of the article that said why they thought people were of two minds about the show--not what you said.) That's a knee-jerk reaction from people who didn't really know very much about the show. There was an element who weren't interested in it except for that one, and you can spot them a mile away when they say things like that.

You're welcome. And I have to say, I like a lot of season 5 too. I can even watch Eine Kleine Nacht Murder (I haven't seen the other 3 since '89). And there are some real gems from Season 4 too. I think if the writer's strike hadn't happened, ML wouldn't have gotten such a bad rap.

I have got to say......I think much of season 4 is very good.....several of my very favorites.........Father Knows Last, Maddie Hayes Got Married....... but as far as season 5, although I will watch it, I really don't like most of the episodes.
I think when Glenn left, alot of the heart of the show was gone. In season 5, the new writers didn't seem to know the characters, and they had them act in decidely non-Maddie and David ways.
But I most assuredly disagree with the cause of the downfall of ML being Maddie and David getting together. The lightening crashed, the stars aligned, and sh-t happened........but that does not mean that if all the circumstances had been different, the show had to fail because they made love.
In my humble opinion, of course!

I have got to say......I think much of season 4 is very good.....several of my very favorites.........Father Knows Last, Maddie Hayes Got Married....... but as far as season 5, although I will watch it, I really don't like most of the episodes. My favourite episode os Season 4 (and my favourite of all the time...) is "A Trip To The Moon" I love the part, when David professing his love for Maddie to all the Blue Moon Staff. He had something on his heart, very deep, that I can see on his eyes, how munch he loves her,and how munch he wanted her. His feelings for her are pure. It's so beautiful see a great person, with a great heart like David.
The dance sence is also my favourites. He invited Maddie for go anyware. When he finds a laundrymat,I laught, but then, when he said:"Dance with me" then he turned the lights off. WOW! So romantic. But the last part was very sad to me.
I also love the episode:"Father Knows Last". When David tells to Mr. Hayes how munch he loves Maddie, was so amazing. I love the way he tells to Mr. Hayes about Maddie. I love it so munch.
In "A Trip To The Moon":
"Maddie:I must going......... (David block the door) Maddie:Back to the office............ David:Block the door. (some Blue Moon Staff block the door) David:No pain, just something to tell you. Maddie:David, don't do it. David:See that lady over there. Maddie:David,no..... David:I think....I am completly and fowling IN LOVE with her."
