So I watched this one on the same day as The Son Also Rises (and then felt guilty as I have only 15 episodes to watch and I must save them and make it all last longer!) which might not have been a great idea. The reason I say this is, I found The Son very very funny, light-hearted and generally a great start to Season 3. And then I found this one really quite dark, especially with the opening 8 minutes of killings and burials in the garden. Maybe I've just watched too much X-Files recently! The opening sequence was fine don't get me wrong, it just felt like a hell of a long time to wait for D & M. The argument between them in the office (where Maddie slaps David) was also quite dark but dramatic and passionate at the same time. I quite liked the way the plot unfolded although this was secondary in importance to David and Maddie "making up" - I loved Maddie appearing at the doorway of the guy's home to find out how the investigation was going...and David giving her that smile. Oh how I melt.... And the ending, well what can I say? Spontaneous thoughts indeed, how about REALLY carrying out these thoughts rather than just thinking the same thing at the same time?! Oooh I guess that's quite a rare thing for them to be on the same wavelength. Hot Hot Hot!!! ;D

I thought that the start of this episode was quite dark and dramatic compared to others. I was quite scared lol. I also think that the part whre Maddie slaps David is so well acted. Maddie/ Cybill loooks heartbroken after she's done it and she looks so shocked. Bruce is also amazing in this episode, when Maddie turns up at the house The looks they give each other!!!
