I did think this was very cute Willisgirl!! Later on in the episode, when M & D (or Kate and Petruchio) are lying in bed I think Bruce makes some other comment about not believing how much chest hair he has. Also very cute!

I loved the comment that Bruce makes to Cybill about how sexy she looked with her hair all messed up and the little bit of dirt on her face. Come to think of it he mentioned how sexy she looked a few times during the commentary, another time was during the scene when they were both sat at the table after he had just eaten his dinner and kicked the remainder of it on to the floor , doesn`t he say "thats a very sexy look there folks, not me of course" which obviously ment Cybill as it was only the two of them on the screen at the time and he wasn`t referring to himself. (Personally i think he had the hots for her real bad at the time )

There are so many cute comments.. "What if we could do that now, Bruce?" "-Did we kiss for real there? -Sure, we always kissed."

I listened to this commentary again the other day. It was really nice. It didn't seem awkward like the Glenn-Bruce-Cybill commentary. I enjoyed Bruce's repeated comments on how beautiful and sexy Cybill was ("what a dish!") and also his memories of how they laughed when doing the shower scene in Season 5. Cybill told Bruce that she liked his hair better this way (bald). It was interesting at the end. One of the very last things we hear is Cybill saying that she hoped Bruce has forgiven her for whatever and Bruce's comment back that he never blamed her for anything. This is very different from the youtube comments we have discussed on another thread.

Just imagine what a commentary w/ just the two of them might have sounded like. I can't help but think it would have been much less guarded. I thought for sure they were going to do the "I See England" episode together as much as it is refered to.

It`s common knowledge that the love/hate thing that was going on at the time spilled over into their real lives . And it looks like that particular spark never went out. I maybe going out on a limb here but i get the impression that maybe both Bruce and Cybill need some kind of closure/resolution if you like and getting back on screen together ( in whatever character form ) might in some way help to exorcise these ghosts once and for all. But hey i think i`m starting to sound like a marriage counsellor, and maybe i should stop trying to disect every situation between them even though it is fun sometimes. Another possible reason for us trying to figure out the 'history' between Cybill and Bruce could be the fact that there isn`t any plausible explanation for WHY they haven`t worked together again, surely there must have been oportunities , it has been 18 years. Well actually we do know that the chance has come up , according to Cybills book she asked him to come on the Cybill show and at the last minute he turned her down something about not having enough time but he did manage to find time for Rosanne , The Two Of Us and Friends. It just never has made any sense. Another angle... Here we had the hottest tv couple on the planet ( at the time, and still were very high profile and news worthy even a few years after Moonlighting came off the air ) and no one in the movie making industry had the insight to put them in a movie together. Like i said ..... Doesn`t make any sense.

I just re-watched the commentary for this one. I looooooove the interaction between Bruce and Cybill and part of me wishes GGC and JD would have laid out on this, or at least put them on another track. I do love the detail JD provides, but in this case, I just wanted more of our dynamic duo. I especially don't heart the JD inserts, when I'm sure there was more B/C talk he was covering. Wouldn't it be awesome to have all the takes of their commentary unedited? (It definitely seemed like they did more than one.) Yeah, never happen, but still...
Anyway, back to Bruce and Cybill. Bruce is a huge flirt and Cybill gives it right back to him. I can only imagine what it must have been like between them back in the day. They crackle onscreen and off, and without any further speculation, I'll just say that I have to agree with the real life sexual tension theory that Cybill speaks about as a contributing factor.
On a separate note, I thought it was funny whenever the "office girl" came up, even when they were trying to hide their references. You could just about hear Cybill's eyes rolling. What must have been going on on that set! LOL

In my opinion, this is the best commentary of them all. When I listened to it, I think it made me chuckle more than the actual episode did (and that's a v funny ep!)- they are really cute together and there is such a mutual respect between them now. I love that he said that they always kissed for real...makes those magic moments all the more real- no wonder our screens melted. It is the secret ingredient huh? I like to imagine that they had a bad case of each other just like in the series- but twice as complicated (if that's possible!) :-)

Probably because Cybill and Bruce have no problem showing their true feelings at that time. I'm one of those who think that if they had done the horizontal when they wanted to, they would have had a better relationship throughout the show.

I don't think it could spoil that chemistry between them... Not at all! They oozed chemistry! I don't think that could have evaporated just because they sleep together. Things could have been different between them, but well, that's all in the past. What I would love for them now is to see them together again on anything. I also would love to think they're still friends, or that at least they call each other once in a while.

I can't find any of those comments during the episode.
