Hello All,
Blue Moon Girl here. I'm new to this site. And let me tell you all that if the internet, as we know it, would have been around in the '80s....I would have been chattin' about this show 24/7.
I was a teenager when this show came out. I fell in love with it immediately. The lightning fast dialogue...the comedy....the white hot sexual tension...and of course, Maddie, David, and Ms. Dipesto.
This show broke the mold everytime it aired. And as a budding film student.... I loved everything about the production of it. The direction, lighting, and the over-lapping dialogue. Back then - Wow! What a feat of editing. My hats off to the entire cast and crew for that show.
As a teen, I would watch scenes over and over just to memorize the dialogue. And to this day, I can still quote scenes. My favorite is - "We're looking for a man with a mole on his nose...." Ha!!! Such a funny scene. And the outtakes of that poor actor trying to remember his lines....
I had a lot of memorabilia - which only a few years ago - I threw away most of it! I'm kicking myself for that one. I even edited my first music videos from the show. For me, this show was a high diving board into my then film career, and I'll be forever grateful to Glen for getting this show off the page and onto the screen. He is a writing genius!!
So enough about me....I hope to meet and chat with fellow fans. I'm so glad that this show was able to be released onto DVD. I still have some memorabilia and videos packed away, and am off to the garage to search for them....I can't for the next dvd release. I have to watch Blonde on Blonde!!!
