At the risk of revealing how serious my recently re-acquired ML addiction goes, (I really need help) does anyone else remember getting a little shiver down their spine when they played the DVD for the first time and heard the theme song for the first time in a long time? If this seems odd here is a little context, I haven’t seen any ML since their original airings! ML wasn’t re-run a lot in Canada. Since I didn’t have cable or satellite back then in many cases I’m seeing these episodes for the first time in almost 20 years. It has been too long. I’ve even caught myself whistling or humming the theme from time to time. Oh ya I’ve got it bad.

Oh yeah. I had been living off my old tapes and cable reruns for years, so when I popped in the first DVD and heard David say, (I think it's) "Been a long time, do you remember me?", I nearly fell off my chair.
;D

Are you kidding?!? Of course! Everytime I hear those opening three chords, I get right giddy! I feel like I'm 13 all over again!

Welcome, Ysman. No, that's not odd at all. I can't imagine what it must be like to have not seen this show since it originally aired. I would be loopy. I mean, I got satellite radio 2 years ago and I love the 80's station. One of the reasons being, they play the theme song!! When I heard it, I had to turn it up and sing. I was in the car, so I'm sure that looked pretty crazy. I think I got just as excited hearing it now as I did when it played on the radio in '87. I'm glad you are getting to relive all the fun and goosebumps. ;D

I also was very lucky to have most of the episodes on VHS over the years too. But it's still better to have the DVDS now because the quality is nothing like a VHS tape from 15-20 years ago LOL I have seen these episodes over and over and over and it's still as exciting as the first time seeing them except for the last few episodes LOL

Oh yeah! it was SO exciting when I first got the DVDs for Season 1 and 2! And for Season 3. It was wonderful also watching a few episodes that I hadn't seen since the first time they came out, or in the case of It's a wonderful job, an epi I'd never seen before!!

I hadn't heard the openning since the eighties and I got that chill as well. I loved the "...do you remember me?" intro. I was so hyped that when I got the sets I watched 5 episodes in a row. In the middle of the day. When I had tons of other things to do.
