I saw a thread similar to this on my Jon Stewart fan forum and thought I would give it a go here.
--that tinkling triangle sound at the VERY beginning of the ML theme (I STILL get butterflies everytime I hear it.)
--Flying into LAX in the dark (seeing the skyline... sigh)
--When an ML fanfic just freakin' nails it! (Characters, dialogue, chemistry all perfect!)
--David screaming when he burns his leg with the hand dryer in "Brother..." (Milk-coming-out-of-my-nose, tears-streaming-down-my-face laughter everytime!)
--Hearing my sister (too young to remember ML on her own) saying, "repressed or obsessed or one of those -essed words" TO THIS DAY! (Makes me feel like I really made a difference in the world. j/k)
Love to hear yours, everyone. Come on, let's share just how TRULY lame we all are!

For me, one of the best is that little sad loop of piano music that plays whenever the mood really slows down or something awful is about to happen (often, when somebody first walks into a room and they don't realize yet what's going on). It's maybe ten seconds, usually, but it always gets me. I think it's used when Maddie is surveying the wreckage of David's office in "I Am Curious," for example. There are several other moments throughout the series. It's too short of a music sample to be on any sort of album, but I'd kill to have it to put on mixes. An artful touch, not so short that it means nothing but not so overdone that it runs into everything else.
I also loved the opening credits in the pilot. Great typeset and the way they moved it. Shame we really don't see that again...

I'd like to say something about that garage, the one beneath the agency office. Is it part of an alternate universe? All kinds of mayhem goes on in there, from fights to chases to criminals sneaking up on them, and I think I can count on zero fingers the times when you actually see somebody else driving by, or noticing that something weird is happening and stopping to talk to the participants. Now, what kind of corporate garage is like that? That was a big building, at least twenty floors (probably more), so there must be a ton of offices, which ought to mean plenty of people coming and going most hours of the day. It's L.A., too. Very busy. Not from here, you wouldn't know that!

For me, my moments are:
Whenever David comes into the office each morning - you never know what he's going to do or say! Whenever a harmonica is playing! Whenever Dipesto is confused and random When Maddie shows just how vunerable she is When the chase music starts up! When David comes into work really hungover!

I love the underground garage scenes - it always says to me that something is going to happen and its going to be dramatic. But you're right Queensgirl, they are totally deserted aren't they?! Also love "Do bears bear? Do bees be?" Scenes in the car - often great banter here. The office staff - some of their facial expressions are just priceless!! And any time a door slams......... ;D

the looks maddie and david give each other. definitely the opening credits (adyjdy) maddie's theme chase music and vulnerability (absolutley Mul) in real life... anytime I hear a song that was used in ML when I say something, and my brother knows it's qoute, and he finishes it. whenever I see a cybill or bruce movie and you can spot glimpses of maddie and david. i could go on and on. ;D

It just stuns me that in five entire years, nobody else in the whole corporate complex has to move their car.

I park my car in a garage, there are about 20 other cars there, and no matter when I´m there, there´s always someone else there. So, yeah, that´s strange..
Perhaps it could have been a garage where thugs left their stolen cars, and noone ever thought about it. The only people visiting the garage were Blue Moon workers, and they always had other things on their mind. For five years. Could be possible..eh. yeah.
