Thanks, I can see that from some of the things I've read already. I'm so pleased to finally get in touch with a group of people who feel the same as me about ML. Back in the 80's when I first watched it as a teenager none of my friends were really into it so I kept all my thoughts to myself!

Hi Helen, I was also a teen when the show first aired. I can't imagine having to keep all that ML 'energy' to yourself. Especially back then. I also think it's 'great-great' that Cindy created such a wonderful site/forum for us to discuss all things ML. This is a show with no equal. Who'd of thought 20 years later we'd all be sittin' here pondering David and Maddie around the virtual watercooler. ;D

I'm young (walking to the 15th anniversary ) but ML keeps on my heart. People at school don't understand how much this show was,and stills in. The fights, the loves, the hates, and of course the chemistry between D & M
I know that everybody has their option, but why the talk out loud without sense,I mean,my pals at school didn't saw the show...so why they talk like this...
Anyway...this is a great website/forum. I meet new friends who also enjoyed and still enjoy the best 80'S show ever.

Hi bluemoongirl Yes I was so pleased when I found this site & it's great because they are still showing the show all round the world that the next generation can appreciate it like we did all those years ago Sorry I'm making us seem old now aren't I?? Even 20 years on I still enjoy the episodes just as much, or maybe even more as I get some of the more 'adult' humour I may have missed as a 15 year old! ;D

Oh, I completely agree with you on 'seeing things from a different perspective'. I was always sooo giddy when the show was on. I understood all the double-talk, inuendo etc. But when you're a kid, you really aren't 'adult' enough or experienced enough to truly understand the dynamics of why they did what they did sometimes. 20 years later...with some 'um' maturity under my belt and relationships come and gone...watching David and Maddie fight and make up, and drive each other 'mad' is even more enjoyable. Did that make sense...
