Oh my gosh! She is my favourite actress, from the "Cleopatra" movie, when I saw it,when I was 6,back in 1997.

How sad. She is one of the true great Hollywood legends that has left a lasting legacy on film, and in her foundation work.

I hadn't heard about this, very sad. Think that is great what she is doing with her money, very worthwhile. :-(

Oh my gosh, this is sad... My dad met her on the plane once. He walked by her and noticed her sitting there: Dad: Are...are you miss Taylor? E. Taylor: You can touch me honey, I'm all flesh and blood. hehe, that woman has humor

omg, I only just saw this thread. This is so sad. Such a wonderful actress. I watched Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf not so long ago. She gave w wonderful performance. I'm so sad to read about this.

An update: Taylor is out and about (good to hear), and is scheduled to appear on the Larry King show, on CNN in the U.S. The interview is slated for next week. There is a story about it on imbd.com's news for today. Please scroll down, it's about 3/4 of the way down the page.

Saw some footage of Larry King - Liz is obviously getting older but seemed in fine fettle, healthwise.
