Hey Rose I went to see Superman Returns and your uncle was great. I thought he looked familiar so I googled him and I see that he was in a movie called Those Lips, Those Eyes. From what I recall, Those Lips, Those Lies took its title from this movie. Is it really the same one? How cool for you to have a Moonlighting link like that!!

Rose! That's your uncle!? How cool! Cutthroat Island has been on tv here this week, I just looked him up and he was in it whaha! I've also seen him in 'Eddie' and 'Sweet November'. And the cool thing is, he played in a movie called 'House of D' and that's with David Duchovny *starts humming the X-Files theme song* Last movie I've seen is Interview with a Vampire, oooh creapy stuff with my buddy Brad Pitt (got his authograph ), Tom Cruise and a young Kirsten Dunst.

OMgosh, Rose. That is very cool that you have a family member that's in the business. I loved him in Superman. Now, I haven't seen too many films with him in it, but I must say, I absolutely love his character, Bob Alexander, in the movie Dave. Love that movie! Watch it a lot when it's on tv. His character is so diabolical - he's hilarious!
Way cool!

Hey thanks guys! I wish we got to see him more but he is always traveling. He is in London right now doing a play. I said to my mom why can't Uncle Frank star in a movie ever with Bruce or Cybill LOL

Well I was watching The Hills Have Eyes yesterday (actually not a very good film) but one of the bad guy mutants looked familiar (Ok that's not much of a compliment but never mind!). It turned out it was Robert Joy playing him! Wouldn't really recommend the film other than that bit of ML-link-spotting!!
Also seen Little Miss Sunshine recently, really liked that film. Quirky, sad, funny, bit of everything and great little actress in it too whose name escapes me....

Babyhayes, I also saw Little Miss Sunshine recently and have to say it is the best film I have seen this year! (And I have seen quite a few really good ones which won oscars). It was so unpredictable and full of such warmth and charm and pathos. I think the little girl who played Olive was Abigail Breslin. She was absolutely fantastic. To anyone else here who hasn't seen this film - take my advice and go, it's great, great!!!

Well, I don't know if you read it, since I don't know if everyone reads the x-files thread. But I've been to London about 3 weeks ago and went to the Opening Gala of the 50th London Film Festival. They opened with The Last King Of Scotland. Really good film! (and I'm not saying that just because Gillian Anderson is in it, trust me). Forest Whitaker so deserves an Oscar for this film! Anyway, here is the trailer for it: www.youtube.com/watch?v=j__SjUxh_R0

I have to admit Stephanie I don't read the X-Files thread because I never got into the show but I did watch that trailer for The Last King of Scotland. It looks fantastic. Not sure when it will open in Oz but wil definitely check it out!

I personally recommend Casino Royale. It's the best Bond movie in the past 10 years since Goldeneye. Bond is trully humanized in this one, making him less cartoony and realistic. Eva Green as Vesper was gorgeous as well.

Casino Royale might be the first Bond movie I don't want to watch. I love Bond movies, but I'm not really attracted to this James. I just don't see him as Bond.
